Terms and conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before purchasing online or in-store. By shopping with The Corner Booth, you agree to the terms outlined below, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Delivery (Online Orders)

  • Orders are generally dispatched within 48 hours. At times, there may be short delays if we are waiting on stock. If you require an item by a specific date, please contact us to confirm availability.
  • Standard shipping is a flat rate of $15.00 per order Australia-wide. Free shipping applies to orders over $150.00.
  • The flat rate applies to items under 3kg. Bulky or oversized goods may attract additional freight charges – we will contact you with a quote before dispatch.
  • International shipping is available at a flat rate of $55. Bulky items may incur further charges depending on weight and destination. All customs duties, taxes, and import fees are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Products marked “Pre-Order” will include estimated delivery times. If your order contains both pre-order and in-stock items, the order will be shipped once complete. Partial shipments may be arranged at your request, with additional shipping charges.
  • We aim to keep our website up to date. If an item becomes unavailable, we will notify you promptly and offer to order it in for you or suggest an alternative.
  • To minimise waste, we often use recycled packaging. These boxes may not look brand new but help reduce our environmental footprint.
  • All parcels are sent via courier with tracking provided. Orders are marked ‘Authority to Leave’ and will be left in a safe place. If no safe place is available, please contact us before dispatch to amend delivery instructions.
  • The Corner Booth is not responsible for delays, incorrect addresses, or loss once parcels are handed to our courier partners. We will assist in following up with couriers where possible.

Returns & Exchanges – Online Purchases

We want you to feel confident shopping online. If your purchase isn’t right, the following conditions apply:

  • Women’s Apparel (Full Price Only)
    • Exchange, store credit, or refund available.
    • Contact us within 7 days of delivery.
    • Items must be in original condition, unworn, with swing tags attached.
    • Refunds: The original shipping fee is non-refundable, and a $10 handling fee will be deducted.
    • Exchanges: Return shipping to us is at your cost; we cover the shipping back to you.
    • Store Credit: Issued once the return is received in original condition.
  • Giftware, Baby & Children’s Clothing
    • Eligible for exchange or store credit only. Refunds are not available.
  • Non-Returnable Items
    • For hygiene and safety reasons, earrings, undergarments, food, and skincare cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Sale Items
    • Strictly no returns, exchanges, or refunds on sale or discounted items.
  • Faulty Items
    • All items are checked before dispatch. If you believe an item is faulty, contact us immediately with photos.
    • In line with Australian Consumer Law:
      • If the fault is minor, we may repair the item and return it to you.
      • If the fault cannot be repaired, we will provide a replacement.
      • Refunds are only provided where a major fault exists.
  • Return Costs
    • Customers are responsible for the cost of returning items to The Corner Booth.
    • If an exchange is requested, an additional shipping charge will apply for sending the replacement.
    • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless we are at fault.

In-Store Purchases – Returns & Exchanges

Our in-store policies differ slightly from online purchases:

  • We offer exchanges or store credit on full-priced items within 7 days of purchase, provided items are in original condition with tags attached.
  • Refunds are not offered for in-store purchases unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
  • No returns or exchanges on sale or discounted items.
  • Non-returnable categories apply in-store as well (earrings, undergarments, food, skincare).
  • Faulty items will be assessed in line with Australian Consumer Law as outlined above.
